I believe every piece of vintage jewelry has a  a unique character and its own story to tell. 2nd Thoughts blends vintage items with modern day elements creating one of a kind jewelry with a story of its own. My days are spent  scouring antique shops and estates in search of vintage jewelry, often from the Victorian or Art Deco periods. Once a piece is selected  I  transform it by blending vintage and modern elements, creating one of a kind jewelry with a  story of its own.     

Born in New York state and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, I have a Fine Arts Degree in jewelry and metalsmithing from NSCAD University.. Soon after graduating I moved to New York City and worked for several years with celebrity jewelry designer, Catherine Angiel. I also worked with sculptor and jeweler,  Arnold Goldstein, making limited edition pieces for clients such as Ralph Lauren and JL Powell. 

With 2nd Thoughts I am elated that my passion for history, culture and travel can transform outdated treasures into beautiful meaningful jewelry. Best of all, I can design from my cozy studio in Hudson. On 2nd Thought, life is pretty good!
